Failed to retrieve user profile error

I am new to the forum.

I did a quick search and didn't see any threads about this error "Failed to retrieve user profiles information from server. ERROR:httpError 401(50001)"

I get this when I try to log on to the wave server through desktop communicator.

I am able to get into the management side of the server through the HTTP interface and I don't see any obvious reasons why it will not let me log on through communicator.

Does any one know what this is?

Please email support@twistpair.com and open a ticket about this issue.

This is a IIS/Domain configuration issue but I'm not sure what the resolution is. I will need more information.

Here was the solution:

"The Default Web Site Properties had Integrated Windows Authentication enabled. I turned it off. It still wouldn't work. I disabled Integrated Windows Authentication on the entire Web Site Folder/OU and that was the money maker. I am not sure what happened, and I don't know why Integrated Windows Authentication was turned on."

No I dont have the memory running, the problem is when I try to update, half way I get this message that the DeleteFile Failed; Code 5 error.
