How do I choose to NOT use the pilot number for SIP signaling in the Media Sever settings?
In the Admin guide, it says I do not have to use the pilot number, but it is a required field in the settings page on the Management Server.
The following is from the Admin guide:
Pilot Number If you are enabling Pilot Number functionality, then enter the Pilot Number here. If you
do not wish to use a Pilot Number, then leave the Pilot Number field blank. The Pilot Number identifies the phone extension dialed to reach this Media Server through the SIP Registrar.
Pilot Number Functionality, when enabled by entering a Pilot Number, restricts the Media Server to only accept SIP connections from the Pilot Number and from configured Session IDs. If you do not specify a Pilot Number, then any incoming call is automatically greeted and given an option to select a Session (although the caller must still know the Session ID).
If I do not enter anything in the pilot number field, there will be an error when saving
