WAVE Voice Port

Can somebody explain me that in what situation, we need the WAVE Voice Port license?

Can we make outgoing phone calls using our own SIP server, with 0 voice port configured on the media server?

Seny,

Voice ports are consumed when dialing into a Media Server, or having a session dial out. If you are connected to or from Dispatch Communicators, SDK clients, etc to other endpoints on your PBX that are not Media Servers then you do not need voice port licenses.
