We currently are intefacing with several PRC-117 radios in voice only mode using pretty much the setups described in other threads here. It has been a very robust system. We have had a request to interface a PRC-117 in voice and data mode with a 5kHz channel. We used exactly the same setup and were unsuccessful. Has anyone tried this configuration? any hints on how to resolve this beyond reconfiguring radios?

Unfortunately we do not know of a method to do this.

What COMSEC mode are you using? None for Plain?


Are you using J1 or J3?
