I have followed the OCS Integration guide and successfully setup OCS & Wave with the clients using Office Communication with the Wave communicator tab.

If I change the presence in OCS this doesn't seem to update the presence shown in the wave web communicator tab and vice-versa.

Is there a way to integrate the audio and presence?

I would guess that I need to setup SIP Signalling from the wave media server to the OCS Mediation server, is this SIP TCP or UDP, if it's UDP then i'll probably need to add a SIP gateway.

If the SIP side was setup would the presence information get communicated or would this need to be some kind of service developed with the Wave SDK talking to OCS with UCMA ?

The integration of WAVE into OCS functions as an independent plug-in application for Office Communicator. All the audio, telephony and S&P between WAVE and OCS is independent and unconnected.

We do have plans to integrate WAVE further into OCS. This can also be accomplished by our partners today using the WAVE SDK and available APIs for OCS and Office Communicator.

Happy to discuss more and provide more detail about the solution and technical implementation.
