Hi there,
I have a remote trader using WAVE in the Virgin Islands that is unable to get WAVE working on her Windows XP PC.I am receiving the error message below.
"An error has occured while tryint to initialize the multicast channel module"
I have done the following.
1 Aloud access through her windows firewall
2 Checked her anti virus system Avast for a firewall
3 Turned of the firewall and avast and tried unsuccessfully to run WAVE.
3 Ask the sure to remove any application that she does not need that could be affecting her connection. She has done so but this has failed to gain access
4 She is gaining access on a VPN connection from london to the Virgin islands. and is able to use our application but WAVE is not able run.
5 We have at least 40 other clients using WAVE some remote clients trading from as far as Sydney.
6 My hair is growing thinner every day as you can imagine.
If you could supply any troubleshooting methods to further my investigation that would be greatly appreciated.
