Hi all,
We have an older wave server (V1.8 I think) integrated with Callmanager 4.1(3). It started to have an issue yesterday and there is no new change or update to either server. Now when I try to page or whisper an extension, I hear the recording and and the off-hook tone, but the phone I am paging does not go off-hook.

I did see one error message on callmanager complaining about mis-matched CTI manage version but it went away after I restarted the CTI Manage Service on callmanager.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Pete

First off, try to reboot the Media Server machine and try again.

Is it all phones or this one phone?

Please run a Wireshark trace and filter based on the phone's IP.
Do you see traffic to and from the CallManager and that phone? You
should see several XML push operations.

Have you changed any security settings or anything else on
CallManager or the box that runs CallManager?

Keith, Thanks for your quick reply.

It happened to all phones and yes we rebooted both callmanager and wave server to no avail.

The only error I am seeing on the CTI Manger version mismatch but that has gone away after I restarted the CTI Manager service on callmanager. Other than that, the systems has been working for years without a hitch until yesterday.

Another bits of information. I used the XML diagnostic program in the Wave directory and was able to successfully push a url to a IP phone.
