Is there a way to change the list of possible presence indicators (available, away, busy, on phone) and add or own specific indicators.

Is there a way to change the presence indicator using function keys.

If you use our WAVE SDK http://www.twistpair.com/index/wave-sdk you gain access to the WAVEEndpoint object and add your own states and manipulate the existing defined states.

Regarding your specific questions, there is not a current way to use hot keys to change the status settings or add your own in dispatch using configuration.

We would like to know what states you would like to see be added and we can add this as a request for a future release.

Obviously some of these might be very specific to our business (School BUS) so being able to add them to a list on the server (much like the ALERT Tones) would probably be better.

Also the state changes should be recorded as a CDR record.

And yes I would lilke more detail on the SDK. Is it possible to get the SDK and the source code for DISPATCHER on an AS IS basis if necessary so that we could implement a SCHOOL BUS specific version?

Great information, I agree we need to make these configurable. I logged the request in our system (reference id 0003042) We cannot commit to this being in our 4.5 release scheduled end of year or our 5.0 release next year but this is where the request is assigned too. We will keep you posted or ping us again on this in the future.
