Daily I unplug my internet connection and connect to an internal router.
when i have an internal only connection to a linksys router I get an ip of 192.168.1.11 and the desktop communicator logs in and works fine.
i disconnect from the linksys and plug in my internet connection and ipconfig /release /renew and get connected to the internet and an ip of 192.168.1.3
the problem is the desktop communicator no longer logs in. I can use http://192.168.1.3/wave and log into the wave web service and pages.
But why does my desktop communicator fail when I'm on the internet? How can I fix it?
