no sound hardware detected

I installed the desktop client on a windows xp machine. when I run the desktop communicator the screen is incomplete and I get a warning that no sound hardware was found.

But I know this is not true, because I use the same computer for extensive music mixing and playback with a pc based garageband like product.

Can you post a screen shot of the error? Also, what version of WAVE are you using?

I rebooted then the sound system was detected, who knows?
