In WAVE:
Interfaces > Gateway is defined.
User > Profiles > IP Telephony is checked and correct Gateway is selected.
Users > Users > username > E164 number(s) are defined as extensions for user

Peer is configured in H.323 gateway.

If you're not part of a domain and your H.323 Dialer is still grayed out, you may need to set your Primary DNS Suffix in Windows.

On Windows PC that's running WAVE Dispatch Communicator.
Start > Settings > Control Panel > System

Click on 'Computer Name' tab, then 'Change'.

in 'Computer Name Changes' window click on 'More'.

Now put something in the Primary DNS Suffix textbox. 'test' will suffice. It does not need to be correct.

Now click 'OK'.

After the reboot, your dialer should be functional now.

Tried this solution and it came up on one computer. Others will not. Thread says "if you are not on a domain". We are on a domain. Is there other soulution to get H.323 active?

Bob,

Have you had a previous version of WAVE on these computers? Look in Windows\System32 for any DLLs that start with "rv". If these are there let us know and we'll discuss what to do about it.

What version of WAVE?

What OS?

Thank you,
Kenneth

Kenneth,

The version is 3.0.1.10. and is the only version installed.
OS is XP Pro

There are "rvse.dll", rvseres.dll" and "rvsezm.exe". All WAVE computers were working until last week when a few no longer had the H.323 active.

Thanks for the quick response.
