I am looking to install the management server on a XP pro system with as little overhead as possible. What are the minimun requirements, to include versions, in order to have the server running on the smallest footprint.
VB runtime?
ASP ?
.NET ?
IIS?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Craig

We only support Server versions of Windows for the Management server. This includes 2000 and 2003. The reason for this being the limited number of incoming TCP/IP connections allowed in XP and earlier versions of Windows.
As far as your other questions, you will need IIS 6.0 which includes ASP. I just enable this under Add or Remove Programs/Windows Components, and make sure you have your installation CD near by. Also, you wont need .NET or VB runtimes for the Management server.

Ken,
Thanks ofr the info! I am nearly there.. The only errors during the install are Crystal Report DLL's not being registered. Do they require any thing not listed above?
Thanks again!

Craig,
Here is a KB article I started writing a while back. While it specifically mentions the tpsnetlicense DLL, I'm pretty sure the underlying issue is the same problem you're experiencing - Libcurl, libeay32 etc, also used by Crystal Reports but it installs a version that is incompatible with WAVE.
