1) Remove IUSR account from the Guests group. The Guests group doesn’t allow any members to logon locally to the server.
2) Access WAVE’s “Directory Security” Tab. Change the Anonymous password to the one you created during the DISA Gold process.
3) Stop and Restart IISADMIN Service
4) Access the WAVE Homepage via the server’s hostname or “localhost”. These are the names in the Trusted Sites. If you would like to add more Trusted Sites, you need to add these in the registry. I will not get into how to do this for obvious reasons.
5) When installing the WAVE Media Server, point the Media Server to the “localhost” or the hostname of the server. Again, these are in IE’s Trusted Sites. If you want to add more, such as the IP Address, you need to add this to the registry.
