In the WCIE training we state you can only run WAVE on English versions of Windows.

My question is if this is also true for the Media Server, Desktop Communicator and Dispatch Communicator. My understanding is this is a problem with the Management server/IIS/ASP pages.

Has anyone ever run the either the Media Server, Desktop Communicator or Dispatch Communicator on non-English versions of Windows or does anyone have any comments on support for the Media Server, Desktop Communicator and Dispatch Communicator on non-English versions of Windows?

Quick update on this

We installed a German version of XP and ran Dispatch and Desktop on it. Both ran fine and look good.

The problem is as soon as you use extended German characters (ä, ö, ü / Ä, Ö, Ü ß) some areas of the dispatch does not display correctly. For example, Status/Presence list and Activity log list does not display the characters correctly.

So, you can run dispatch on a non-English version of Windows you just cant use extended characters:( - hence localization feature request.
